Wellington Spotlight: with Sir Joy Qiao

This week Anthony is joined by Joy Qiao, Wellington College Education’s Partner in China.  She launched the first Wellington International school in Tianjin in 2009 and has since grown the family to six schools across four major cities in China and the first school opens in San Francisco in September 2026.  A graduate of the University of Oxford with a background in global tech, Joy brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial vision and cross‑cultural insight to her mission of redefining bilingual and bicultural education. Recognised as one of Fortune China’s 2025 Most Powerful Women of the Future, she continues to shape the landscape of international education with her commitment to holistic, globally minded learning.
