Rosie McColl – The Quiet Revolution

Inspire December 7, 2018

The introvert/extrovert divide is the most fundamental dimension of personality. However, even though over a third of us are on the introverted side, it is extroverts who are often championed and admired. In 2012, Susan Cain published a book that changed the way we view introversion. Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking became an international best-seller. It has been credited as one of the most important books published in a decade; is has changed lives, and kick-started a ‘Quiet Revolution’. Cain’s message is that a quiet approach, if used correctly, is a powerful force. Drawing on ideas from Susan Cain’s work, this talk will challenge some of the misconceptions about introversion.

Listen here and find out where you sit on the introvert/extrovert spectrum (you might be surprised). It could make you see yourself, and others, in a whole new light. Suitable for introverts, extroverts and ambiverts alike!
