Welcome to the first programme in our brand new series, Desert Island Books. We’ve modified the longstanding and much loved Radio 4 ‘Desert Island Discs’ radio show format to create our own ‘Wellington College Desert Island Books’.

In the show you’ll hear about the guest’s favourite 8 tracks as well as their favourite 8 books. My first interviewee and a bit of a guinea-pig is my husband, Richard Atherton, Maths teacher and Head of IB. Hear about his eclectic tastes in books and music.
