Welcome to the WellySport podcast, where the aim is to provide interesting sports related conversations with anyone from the world of sport, including Old Wellingtonians now involved in sport or other individuals who now work within sport. This week:

This week on the Wellington Sports podcast we have Darcy B interviewing OW Sophie Ragg. Sophie was a Wellingtonian who took every opportunity that was presented to her. Sophie played 4 years of Netball 1st VII, 4 years of hockey 1st XI and was involved in the Marines and the girls’ rugby team. Sophie now is at Dartmouth playing rugby and we delved into how cool American University sport is, the challenges of being a female at Wellington in the 2010’s and who her favourite teachers were. Darcy shares her own experience of the process and what she is thinking about at this stage. An absolute must-listen for female sports players and anybody contemplating American University as an option.
